This week, our team started adding music to the soundtrack, for which I first edited a half-finished video. However, in conducting a follow-up review, we found several serious problems. Firstly, the tonal dissonance of each individual clip, with abrupt 3D and 2D effects, which resulted in a very different style for each individual and did not fit in with our initial ideas. Secondly, the transitions in each clip were raw and lacked a sense of flow and naturalness that needed to be rethought and redesigned.
With my organisation, we started to discuss and fix the above issues. Firstly, we decided on the format of the transitions, fixing the colour issues in each clip through clever transitions, and making the whole video more coherent and consistent. Secondly, we decided to remove the backgrounds from the 3D cave clips and replace them with 2D backgrounds, which better matched the style of the whole clip, and fixed the line and colour issues with the 3D characters, making them more natural and realistic. We also discussed the colour of the 3D scenes and whether or not to add lines, and ultimately we decided to adapt and design them accordingly to the needs of the film as a whole.
Through this restoration and discussion, we realised that every detail is crucial in the making of a short film and must be perfected. We also realised that working together and discussing together would allow us to solve problems and achieve success more efficiently. Working together as a team, we were able to fix the problems in the film and set the stage for the next step. We have also learnt that this kind of teamwork and discussion is the key to creating great short films.

Week 9:Compositing
This week our group met to discuss about shot design. My partner and I were responsible for the camera work of the scenes and the compositing of the 2D and 3D animations in this meeting.
Firstly, I was responsible for the camera work for the scenes. In the shot design, I took into account the structure, colour and light of the scene, and chose the most appropriate camera angles and camera movement according to the needs of the plot. I also used some 3D camera effects, such as trajectory movement and aperture, to make the scenes more vivid, three-dimensional and interesting.
Secondly, my partner was responsible for the compositing of the 2D animation with the 3D animation. In this process, we worked closely together to coordinate the movement of the scenes and the compositing of the animation, ensuring that they were coordinated and consistent. We also used compositing techniques such as masking and shadowing to make the integration of 2D and 3D animation more natural and smooth.
Overall, my partner and I were able to complete the shot design task in a basic way. Good compositing results were achieved, making the final product even better and more exciting. During this week, I have learnt a lot about the use of shots. The next step will be to continue to work closely together to prepare our work well for post-production.

To match the 2D animation, I expanded the scene of a row of houses to a whole neighbourhood. The last sub-shot of this animation was a long continuous shot, so I experimented with several sub-shot runs to fit it as closely as possible to the 2D animation.
Week 8
This week our group met to discuss the issue of 3D material effects. After a lot of discussion and thought, we finally decided on the 3D material effect we wanted and found the corresponding tutorial to study.
Firstly, we discussed and analysed in detail the material effects we wanted. We decided that we wanted a simple, animated 2D effect with texture and shine. At the same time, we had to pay attention to the colour and texture of the material so that it matched our ideas and style. So we ended up with the Lightning Boy Shader, a unified material.
Next, we found some relevant tutorials to study. In the process of learning, we encountered some difficulties, such as how to adjust and modify the materials according to our requirements, how to use the various material maps and textures, etc. However, with a lot of hard work and cooperation we eventually overcame these difficulties and managed to acquire some new skills and knowledge.
Overall, this week we have been able to discuss and learn as a group and have managed to identify the 3D textures we want and find the appropriate tutorials to follow. Although we encountered some difficulties during the learning process, we were able to achieve a good result in the end through the hard work and cooperation of our team members. The next step will be to further refine and tweak our material effects to fully prepare for the final product.

Week 7
This week our team has been focusing on character modelling and scene building.
Firstly, let’s talk about character modelling. We analysed and discussed the character set-up drawings in detail. During this process, we encountered some challenges, such as how to express the character’s characteristics and personality, how to ensure the detail and quality of the modelling, etc. Through close collaboration of team members and continuous experimentation and improvement, we finally completed the initial modelling of the character roles to make them look more realistic and three-dimensional.

In addition to the character modelling, we also worked on the set construction. Based on the script setting, we selected suitable scene materials, combined and retouched them, and finally completed a preliminary scene model.
Overall, we made some progress this week, successfully completing the character modelling and scene building. In the process, we encountered some challenges, but through the hard work and cooperation of our team members, we eventually overcame the difficulties and achieved a notable result. In the next step, we will further improve the character roles and scenes and strive to present a high quality work.

Week 6
We’ve had a lot of discussion this week and settled on our storyboard.
Short synopsis
It is the social development process of a race named Pinky
and some phenomena from the perspective of individuals
and society
Story treatment
This work consists of several parts through a long dimensional chronology, these themes are future
humans coming on an expedition to a primitive planet, seeing Jesus at work in a cave, and our
consciousness following the life of the humans Jesus is watching seeing humans leading dogs and
dogs leading people. After seeing the way in which humans reproduce in a perfunctory form. We
see the human being’s claim to self which is the quest for muscle. Finally we return to primitive
society. And find that they had the same worries and consciousness as we do.
Week 5
A visit to the Tate Modern in England is a wonderful experience. Located in the heart of London, this art gallery is a venue that focuses on modern and contemporary art. A visit to the Tate Modern offers an opportunity to view works by modern artists from around the world, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations and more.
I saw many impressive works here, some of which even blew my mind. With the wide variety of artworks, this gave me a deeper understanding of modern art.
In addition, the architectural design and presentation within the museum is very unique. The entire gallery is designed in a modern style and the display areas are carefully designed into different forms and spaces, allowing visitors to better immerse themselves in the artworks.
Overall, visiting the Tate Modern was a very rewarding experience. It gave me a deeper insight into modern art and a better understanding of architectural design and display methods. I would highly recommend this gallery and hope that more people will visit it to experience modern art as well.

Week 4:Character design
The character we created is a tall man with pink skin. There is a muscular version of this character and a tall, thin version, and he is very noticeable and impressive for his height and build.
Firstly, let’s talk about where the idea for this character came from. Originally we wanted to have a sheep-headed, dog-headed figure as our character. However, given the short time we had to create the animation, these complex characters would have been a lot of work for us, so we went with the simple version we have now.

Apart from his external features, this character role. His skin is pink and very bright, which makes him look very different. He is also very tall but skinny. In the muscular version, he has very pronounced muscle lines and looks very powerful. In the lean and tall version, on the other hand, he has a very slender build and a very smooth body line.
Overall, this character role is a very strong and charismatic and humorous character who is very striking in his appearance and personality. Whether it is the muscular version or the lean and tall version, he displays very attractive characteristics that make him hard to forget. If this character role were to be used in a production such as a movie, TV series or game, I am sure he would catch the eye of many viewers and become one of the characters that everyone would love.

We created this character to represent a discussion with people about the inherent prejudice in their vision. We feel that a muscular man is a powerful and brave figure in the general consensus, but he can also be a pink boy who likes to dance!
